New Delhi/Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday blamed the Congress for spreading lies by hiring foreign organizations and dividing societies based on castes. He said political virtue can’t come unless the Congress culture is ended.
In an intuitive session with BJP candidates, state office bearers and pioneers of Karnataka via the Narendra Modi application, the Prime Minister asked them not to fall for the Congress’ lie and spotlight on people-to-people contact till the voting.
“If you observe past elections, you will notice how a couple of political parties have indulged only in dividing societies on religious lines. They offer candies to a group before elections and afterward overlook them,” he said.
Modi said this is the working style of the Congress in which they play with the feelings of others before elections and overlook them after the races.
“They will never give record of their works. They continue enjoying dividing the society. The political purity can not be built up in the nation till the Congress culture is removed from the roots,” he included.
Hitting out at the Congress for spreading lies, Modi asked the party workers not to fall for the such trap of misrepresentations.
“Congress has turned to wild lying after a line of defeats in elections. Prior, the Congress used to spread lies over five to 10 issues they raised. Presently out of 50 issues, 40-45 depend on lies,” the Prime Minister said.
Modi stated, in such conditions, karyakartas must hold fast, uncover their lies and furthermore fight their means of deceiving people by “hiring foreign agencies”.
The Prime Minister said that the other political parties falter to talk on development since development can be evaluated.
“This was unacceptable to those parties which just focused on division. We administer and fight elections based only on development model,” he said.
