PM Modi appreciates ‘Vande Mataram’ music video by Kannada artists

Bengaluru: The video song “Vande Mataram” sung by Vijay Prakash on the account of the 75th year of Indian Independence is making rounds across social media platforms.

Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai shared the video on Monday, August 15, and tweeted, “Vande Mataram. Dedicated by Kannada achievers to Mother India”.

As the video went viral on social media, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the makers on Twitter.

PM Modi tweeted, “An excellent effort by achievers of Karnataka from different fields”.

The video stars Sandalwood actors Ananth Nag, Shivaraj Kumar, Ravichandran, Kiccha Sudeep, Ganesh, Sri Murali, Arjun Sarja, Dhruva Sarja, Dhananjay, Jaggesh, Ramesh Aravind, Rishab Shetty, cricketer Venkatesh Prasad, novelist S. L. Bhyrappa, environmentalist Padma Shri Saalumarada Thimmakka, and singer Padma Shri Manjamma Jogathi.

The music video is produced by Sandalwood actor and MP Jaggesh under the banner Hombale Films.

Music is composed by Praveen D Rao and conceptualized and directed by Santhosh Ananddram.
