PM Modi arrives in Bengaluru for 2-day state visit

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bengaluru on Thursday from where he will be proceeding to Tumakuru in a helicopter.
He was accorded a warm welcome by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and other BJP leaders, DCP Neelamani Raju.
The PM will give away the Agriculture Minister’s Krishi Karman Awards for Progressive Farmers at an event here.
The event will also witness the release of the third installment of PM-Kisan (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) of Rs 2,000 for December 2019-March 2020. This will benefit approximately 6 crore people.
