PM Modi enjoyed the local cuisine served in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in the city thanked people of this town for their hospitality.
PM Modi tried on most of the vegetarian traditional cuisines such as Moode, Neerudose and Sajjige-Bajil.
Modi had an overnight stay on Monday night at the city’s circuit house and the hotel which was responsible to organize for his food had prepared a wide spread consisting Moode, Neerudose, Idli, Kesari Bhath, Chapati, Vade, Biscuit Rotti, Sanjeera, Dalithove, Chutney, Sambar, fresh fruit juice and tea.
It has been gathered that PM Modi joked saying he usually takes a heavy breakfast, but “today it was a bit too heavy”. “My weight increased for 2 kilos,” PM Modi who enjoyed the local cuisine thanked the chef and staff and posed for a photo with the team.
Executive chef Devabrat Mandal of the Ocean Pearl restaurant led the food arrangements.
