PM Modi flags off extended Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express

Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off the extension of the Mangalore Central-Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express via video conference from Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Tuesday, March 12.

The ceremony took place at the Mangalore Central Railway Station, marking a significant milestone in the region’s rail connectivity.

The event witnessed the presence of several notable dignitaries, including MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Legislative Council Leader of Opposition Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLA Vedavyasa Kamath, and Mayor Sudheer Shetty Kannur.

Also in attendance were Palghat Division DRM Arun Kumar Chaturvedi, ADR MS Jayakrishnan, representatives from Manglauru City Corporation, Railway activists, and KCCI.
