PM Modi meets family of slain medical student Naveen Gyanagoudar

‎Bengaluru:‎‎ On the sidelines of his Karnataka on Monday, Prime Minister met the family members of Naveen Gyanagoudar, the MBBS student who was killed during the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

At a stall behind the dais of a public meeting in Kommaghatta, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Naveen’s family.

‎Naveen’s father Shekhar Gowda, mother, and brother met the Prime Minister. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai was also present on the occasion.‎

‎Naveen, a native of Chalageri village in Ranebennur taluk of Haveri district, was killed during the Russian assault on Kharkiv on March 1 this year. After many parlays, the Indian government succeeded in its efforts to bring back his mortal remains from the war zone after 20 days.
