PM Modi to inaugurate Shivamogga airport on Feb 27

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the new Shivamogga airport and his will be the first flight to land in the airport on February 27.
Shivamogga Lok Sabha member B.Y. Raghavendra said, ” We are happy that his flight will be the first to land in Shivamogga airport. He will inaugurate various development works and also lay foundation stones for many projects.”
Despite having international airport facilities such as night landing, Shivamogga airport was built for a cost of Rs 449 crore, making it the most cost-effective airport in India, he added.
He is also scheduled to inaugurate the redeveloped railway station and hold a road show in Belagavi.
