PM Modi to visit Mangaluru today

Mangaluru: PM Modi is scheduled to visit the city today and will stay at the Circuit house for a day. 

PM will be a part of a tour to meet all Ockhi hit parts of the country. While his visit to coastal parts of Karnataka is scheduled for Dec 18, he would visit Kerala, Lakshwadeep and Tamil Nadu on December 19.

This happens to be first ever stay by a Prime Minister in the city in the recent years.

Security has beefed up in the city for the program here.

The police have taken measures to ensure security. Two helicopters have already arrived at the airport as Modi would be going to Lakshadweep by helicopter from here. Three special bullet proof vehicles arrived by special flight on Sunday and special security officers of the Prime Minister have also come.
