PMC bank depositor hangs self, husband says she was affected by Sushant’s death

Mumbai: A 45-year-old woman from Mumbai died by suicide on July 1. Her family has claimed she had been under depression after losing all their savings in the PMC bank scam and the situation deteriorated after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death

The woman is identified as Rachna Seth. It is said that she was alone in the house at the time of her death. Her husband Vishal Seth said,  “She had been in a bad state since the time the PMC scam came to light. The situation deteriorated in the past month, especially after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death”

The family also said that Rachna would often wake up in the middle of the night and start crying about  their financial condition.

Mulund police have registered an ADR and the enquiry is underway
