Police arrest Bengaluru Kogilu Signal daylight shootout accused

Bengaluru: A special police team has arrested Sathish, accused in Kogilu signal day light shootout last week in the state capital. He was arrested and sent for judicial custody. According to the sources, the arrested has been accused in many criminal offences and a close ally of a MLA. The police suspect issues related to real estate business may have the prime reason for the shootout. Earlier, the police were interrogated more than 100 persons with criminal background in Bengaluru city in an attempt to nab the criminals responsible for the incident.
In a day light shootout incident at Kogilu signal located near Yelahanka in the state capital, Dasanapura Agriculture Produce Marketing Committees (APMC) president Kadabagere Srinivas and his car driver were injured severely and rushed into a hospital in critical condition here in the city on last Friday morning. The assailants were arrived by a motor bike and fired six rounds at Srinivas and his driver when they were sitting in the car. The attackers were followed them and fired at the both when the car stopped at the signal.
