Police Arrest Bomb Naga’s Informer; IT, ED Officials Began Investigation on Naga’s Properties

Bengaluru: Bengaluru police arrested Rajan alias Appu (31), another companion of ex rowdy-sheeter, former BBMP member Bomb Naga. The arrested had been working as an informer to Naga on police and their movement to arrest former BBMP member in connection with disproportionate asset, cheating and other criminal cases. The arrested was staying at the houses owned by Bomb Naga and was also involved in Black and White racket. The ex-rowdysheeter is reportedly hiding in Tamil Nadu after a police raid on his residences and offices in the state capital last month.

Meanwhile, the police have informed the Income Tax (IT) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on banned currency notes worth Rs 14.80 crore found in the denomination of banned Rs 500, Rs 1000 and documents related to unaccounted properties seized from Bomb Naga’s residence in a raid, last month. The IT and ED officials have also started collecting information on properties owned by Bomb Naga in the state.

As many 12 police cases have been registered so far against Bomb Naga in the last 25 days in-connection with cheating and other criminal activities. The police sources said that, around 25 persons reportedly cheated by Naga and his gang and exact number of victims is yet tobe known.
