Police bust prostitution racket at Balikana

Puttur: Cops of Sampya station here raided a brothel at Ballikana in Ariyadka village near here and arrested three accused.

The arrested are identified as Charan, Arun, and owner of the house, Narayan Naik. Apparently, the accused used to bring a lady to this house and were running the racket.

Gaining information that a house in Ballikana in Ariyadka village was being used for the racket, the cops led by sub-inspector, Shaktivelu of Sampya police station, conducted the operation on Wednesday September 11 and arrested three.

The police have registered a case in this regard and produced the accused in the court.
