Police destroyed over 3 kgs of ganja

Udupi: Police seized and burnt 3.78 kilograms of Ganja yesterday on the orders of the court in the district police office premises here.

Acting on the district court judgment, a team of officers led by SP Laxman Nimbargi burnt the drugs seized in 4 cases reported in Manipal. As per the court orders, the Drug Disposal Committee destroyed the ganja.

SP Laxman Nimbargi, Additional SP Kumar Chandra, DySP Udupi Kumaraswamy, Karkala probationary ASP Rishikesh Sonavane and other police officials were present.
