Bengaluru: The city police have arrested a notorious burglar called Karthik Kumar alias Escape Karthik in a theft case.
During the arrest, the police seized 157 grams of gold and 1.4 kg of silver.
Case details:
On June 6 a resident of Govidanagar had kept her mangal sutra in her bag and went to have a bath. She had forgotten to lock the front door, during that time Karthik who was passing by saw the door open and robbed the chain from her bag.
Following the incident, the woman filed the case with the local police, who arrested Karthik.
