Bengaluru: The police have formed teams to arrest Drone Prathap who claimed himself as a young scientist and inventing drones, winning multiple awards around the globe.

The Talaghattapura police and BBMP home quarantine citizen squad have launched a manhunt for Prathap. However, the reason to nab Drone Prathap is not for spreading fake news about his research.

Prathap who came to town from Hyderabad last week was placed under home quarantine in an apartment in Talaghattapura. As per quarantine rules, he should have been in quarantine for 14 days, but he has attended an interview in a private channel the next day.

BBMP officials have filed a complaint against him for breaking quarantine rules.

It may be recalled that Drone Prathap was in the news after a report showed that all his claims about developing 600 drones were fake.

Netizens trolled him by sharing his old videos in which he claimed of reading over 70,000 research papers in a span of 3 years and creating 600 drones.
