Police Martyrs’ Day observed in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Police Martyrs’ Day was observed at the District Armed Reserve Police premises under the aegis of the Mangaluru city police commissionerate, Dakshina Kannada district police and 7th battalion of Karnataka State Reserve Police on October 21.
IGP Devajyothi Ray along with police commissioner N Shashi Kumar, deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra, deputy commissioner of police (Law and Order) Hariram Shankar and others honoured the martyred policemen.
The names of policemen who became martyrs in the last year were read out.
