Police nab 3 ganja peddlers

Mangaluru: Three persons involved in ganja peddling were arrested near Kodical Cross by the Anti Rowdy Squad on Friday, November 9th. The police also seized 7,100 kg ganja, three mobile phones and two motorcycles estimated at Rs 3.13 lakh in possession of the accused.

The arrested have been identified as Lakshmana Sunadoli (50), Gangappa Padeppa Madera (39) and Siddarayappa Koori. As per police sources, the accused were captured when they were attempting to transport ganja to Kasaragod district in Kerala.

On Friday morning, the cops received a tip-off based on which, a police team headed by City Central Subdivision ACP Bhaskar V and Anti Rowdy Squad Inspector Raveesh Nayak, along with their staffs were successful in arresting the accused.
