Police nab suspect in rowdy sheeters murder

Bengaluru: The Konanakunte officials on Friday arrested a person with regard to the murder of two rowdy-sheeters at Weavers Colony of Bannerghatta road.
The arrested is identified as Manjunath (34), a rowdy sheeter in Hulimavu police station here.
After learning that Manjunath was hiding at Anjanapura forest a team headed by Annamalai City deputy commissioner of police (south) rushed to the forest to nab him.
The police rounded Manjunath and ordered him to surrender. On seeing the police he attacked sub-inspector Subramani with a sword and injured him. Following which the police fired two rounds at his legs and arrested him. The police are on the lookout for his accomplices.
Reportedly, on Wednesday, November 21 Manjunath had killed his two rivals Murugan (34) and Palani (30) at Weavers Colony of Bannerghatta road. The duo were immediately taken to the hospital where they were declared brought dead.
