Police officers from the state receive President’s Police Medal

Bengaluru: Twenty-one police officers from the state received the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

Malini Krishnamoorthy, Additional Commissioner of Police, A B Rajendrakumar, DySP and Munihanumaiah, ASI (CID), Bengaluru, recieved the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

While P Rajendra Prasad, SP; Basavaraj Jille, Commandant (6th Battallion, KSRP); Shankar K Marihal, ACP; A R Balaramegowda, DySP (CID-forest cell); B K Umesh, DySP; Sudhir M Hegde, DySP; Basavaraj R Mugadum, DySP; Mahesh Meghannavar, DySP; Maruti S Gullari, police inspector; Gangadharasa, PSI (DG control room); K A Srirama, special ARSI (9th Battallion KSRP); Muniswamy Babu, ARSI; Sharavan, ARSI; N S Iyengar Raju, head constable (state intelligence); B Narayan Rao, special RHC-38 (1st battallion, KSRP); Suresh S Abbigeri, special RHC (PTS, Munirabad); K Anantha Rao, CHC-232 (DSB, DPO Kalaburagi) and Abdulsattar A Mirji, CPC, (ISD) received Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
