Police personnel over 55 years to stay at home: B’luru Compol

Bengaluru: Amid an increase in COVID-19 cases in the Police force, Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao has instructed police personnel over 55 years of age to remain at home.
The Commissioner has urged them to avail of the services of Home Guards and remain within the city.
The police personnel was also directed to maintain social distancing, wear maks and gloves while receiving complaints from the public.
Bhaskar has also instructed the police to refrain from arresting the accused unless it is inevitable.
