Police raid massage parlour; two arrested, six women rescued

Nandigudda: Pandeshwar police conducted a raid at a massage parlour near Nandigudda in the city on the charges of conducting immoral activity and arrested two people along with rescuing 6 women, including a foreigner. The arrested have been identified as Girish (40), a resident of Padubidri and Gunapal (35), a resident of Attavar.
It is being said that the two arrested persons used to bring young ladies through human trafficking. The owner of the building, who is alleged to have provided the facility to conduct this immoral activity, is absconding.
The operation
Based on a definite tip off on immoral activity taking place at the location, an operation was conducted jointly by personnel of Pandeshwar police station and Women police station.
The arrested accused have been produced in the court and were remanded to judicial custody. It is understood that the rescued women are from Maharashtra and Bangladesh.
