Police receive bomb threat call in Mysuru

Mysuru: Police received a hoax threat call claiming that a bomb has been planted in the city today.

The news went viral over news channels and people panicked regarding this.

It has been reported that the Police control room received an anonymous call saying there is a bomb threat in the city.

Bomb squads and sniffer dogs were sent into the spot for verification. During the search operation, the police found a suspicious object covered in a cloth.

Following this the object was immediately taken to People’s Park behind Mysore City Bus Station and examined. Later, the suspicious material was taken to FSL Laboratory of Mysore.

Further probe is on.
