Udupi: Police raided a building in the city suspected to be involved in prostitution and rescued a woman.
Based on reliable information, the Inspector and personnel from Udupi CEN Police station conducted the raid.
As per police, Keshava, a Shivamogga resident had allegedly brought the woman to the hotel under the pretext of providing her with work. and later forced her into illegal activities against her will.
The police successfully rescued the woman during the raid. A case has been registered against the hotel owner at the Women’s Police Station for facilitating the illegal activities.
