Police seek help to trace identity of man injured in accident

Bantwal: Police have requested the public’s help in discerning the identity of an accident victim or his family.

The unidentified man was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the road at Ponnodi near B C Road on February 12. He is under medical care at the District Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru, police said.

Bantwal traffic police said the man appeared to be 34 years old. There were no identity documents on his person when he was found.

Anyone, who recognizes the person or knows about his family, is requested to contact the  Dakshina Kannada district police control room at 0824-2220508 or PSI of Bantwal traffic police station at 8762490119.
