Police seek help to trace missing PU student

Mangaluru: Kankanady police have sought public help to trace a PU girl student of a private college who reportedly went missing on November 30.

The girl has been identified as Samantha Diya Soans, a resident of Kulshekar.

As per the complaint filed by her family, Samantha had left home at around 4 pm on November 30 to attend her college anniversary function. She had even sent a photo from the function to her mother and was in attendance at the function till around 7.15 pm as per the statement given by her friend.

Her parents fear that she might have been kidnapped.

Missing person details:

Samantha’s height is 5 feet 5 inches average built. She is fair and has a scar below the nose. She can converse in Tulu, Kannada, Hindi, English and Konkani.

On the day of going missing, she was wearing black jeans pants (Likapar brand), blue jeans shirt and black shoes.
