Policeman working as driver in Mangaluru Lokayukta commits suicide

Bantwal: A 35-year-old police officer deployed as a driver in the Mangaluru Lokayukta Department hanged to death in Hassan on Wednesday, August 12.
The deceased has been identified as Lokesh, hailing from Mukunde in Kolnadu village.
As per sources, Lokesh had rented a room in Nandagokula lodge near Hassan on Tuesday Night and hanged himself there. His body was taken to Channarayapatna hospital for post-mortem.
A case with this regard has been registered with the Channarayapatna Police.
