New Delhi: The union government in an attempt to restrict unaccounted cash transaction by the political parities in the country, it has asked the contributors not to donate more than Rs 2, 000 as donation to any political party fund in the form of cash. Instead of cash, the contributors can contribute any amount in digital form or cheque. This was conveyed by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely in his budget speech on Wednesday in Loka Sabha.
