Belthangady: In an attempt to attract voters, a polling booth in Belthangady taluk has been decorated quite creatively on the day before the Assembly polls.

The 84th polling station of the taluk at Neriya Government Senior Primary School has been decorated keeping the theme of ‘marriage’ in mind. The attractive polling booth is turning many a head.

The entrance is decorated in a traditional Karavalli manner holding a written greeting welcoming voters to the voting festival.

Toranas made of mango leaves have also been put up across walls and the interiors to add to the aesthetics. The decoration strives to promote the importance of casting ones vote and local culture simultaneously.

It is a rather unique way to attract voters to cast their vote tomorrow.
