Polls for 14 Urban Local Bodies announced in Karnataka

Bengaluru/Mangaluru: The State Election Commission (SEC) on Sunday announced elections to 14 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) including Mangaluru Mahanagara Palike. Polling for the same will take place on November 12 and the results will be declared on November 14.

The SEC also announced by-elections for 5 Urban Local Bodies for which the elections will be held on November 13/

Notifying these elections, the SEC clarified that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) will be in place from Sunday itself.

The last date for filing nominations will be October 31. Last date for withdrawal of nominations is November 4.
