Poonjalkatte: Historic Jodukare Bayalu Kambala inaugurated

Veera-Vikrama Jodukare Bayalu Kambala

Bantwal: The historic Veera-Vikrama Jodukare Bayalu Kambala, organized by the Hokkadigoli Mahishamardini Kambala Committee, commenced on January 4 at the border of Elyanadugodu and Arambodi villages.

The Kambala was inaugurated by Sri Kshetra Punja’s Asranna Krishnaprasad Acharya, who emphasized the need for collective support to sustain this traditional sport of Tulunadu.

Dignitaries including Dr. Sudeep Kumar Jain, President of Siddakatte Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society, Prabhakar Prabhu, and former State Bal Bhavan Society Chairperson Sulochana Bhat extended their best wishes. Other attendees included local leaders, cooperative representatives, and businessmen.

Kambala Committee President Rashmith Shetty welcomed the gathering, and Dinesh Suvarna Rai hosted the event.
