Bengaluru: In the coming days, Cabinet must be reshuffled and ministerial positions must be given to others. If needed I am ready to give up my ministerial position , said MLA Anand Singh
Clarifying on speculations regarding his resignation, Anand Singh said,” There have been various speculations in the media about my resignation. I was a little upset about the change in portfolio but now I am not. I did have a talk with the Chief Minister.”
Talking about the portfolio reshuffle, Anand asserted, “Change is normal to appease everyone. There is no such thing as a small or big portfolio.”
Pointing out at the words engraved in Vidhana Soudha, ‘Government job is God’s work’, he said that one should handle any portfolio assigned to him and co-operate with the chief minister.
Speaking of his previous portfolios, Anand said, ” I have accomplished a lot of work when I was in-charge of Forest Department. Aravind Limbavali assigned me that portfolio and I handled it. Wakf and Haj Department has been assigned to me now and I will handle this position”
“I shall take up any portfolio assigned to me,” he added
