Derogatory social media posts about Daivaradhane: One person arrested

Mangaluru: Police have arrested a person for creating a fake Twitter account and publishing derogatory posts on Daivaradhane (deity worship) practiced in Tulunadu and posting obscene posts about women.

The accused has been identified as Shivaraj H K (37), a resident of Jakkur Main Road in Amruthahalli, Bengaluru.

The arrest was made based on a complaint lodged by Daivaradane Rakshana Samiti (Regd).

The operation was led by CCB ACP P A Hegde under the guidance of Mangaluru Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain and the operation was carried out by Inspector Satish M P of CEN Police Station and staff.
