Pothole mishap: Woman injured after falling from scooty in Sullia

Sullia: A woman sustained injuries after she lost control and fell off her scooty while navigating a pothole near Ayyanakatte bus stand on the Bellare-Ninthikallu main road.

The mishap took place when the victim was returning home from work. A few youths who were at the spot rushed to her rescue and took her to a nearby clinic for treatment.

Meanwhile, locals have expressed ire against officials for not repairing the several potholes on the Sonangeri-Bellare, Bellare-Ninthikallu main road despite the dangers that they pose to two-wheeler riders. They alleged that a lot of mishaps were taking place due to the potholes and demanded immediate repairs.

Notably, a report published in Udayavani Sudina had highlighted the problem of potholes.
