Power of Social Media: 80-year-old couple’s ‘Baba ka Dhaba’ revived after heartbreaking video goes viral!

The power of Social media cannot be underestimated as when used for the right reasons it can do wonders. Recently, a video of an elderly man crying as he is not able to sell food and earn enough to make ends meet went viral on social media.
Baba Ka Dhaba is a 30-year-old food stall in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, that is run by an elderly couple. 80-year-old man named Kanta Prasad along with his wife runs the food joint
The couple have been struggling to earn due to the ongoing pandemic. Blogger Gaurav Wasan shared their video on social media which went viral.
In the video, Kanta Prasad’s wife is seen cooking rotis as he says that they are not even able to sell 750 grams of rice and half a kilogram of dal in a day. When was asked how much he has earned, he broke down and showed Rs 10 notes from a box.

The video received over 9 million views on Instagram in less than a day since it was shared. On Thursday, people thronged the place in large numbers and posted pictures of the same. The hashtag #BabakaDhaba is one of the topmost trends on Twitter.
