Former minister CT Ravi on Thursday said that the Prajwal Revanna case could have a minor indirect impact on the upcoming elections.
Speaking in Belgaum, Ravi stated that the Congress party is attempting to portray the incident as a crime of the entire NDA coalition.
He emphasized the importance of allowing the preliminary investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unfold, noting that the truth will be revealed in due course.
Ravi also endorsed HD Kumaraswamy’s stance on the matter, expressing agreement with the former Chief Minister’s call for a thorough investigation by a team of female judges to expedite the truth-finding process.
He reiterated the principle of innocent until proven guilty, emphasizing that no one should be declared guilty prior to a comprehensive investigation.
