A viral photo of multilingual actor Prakash Raj taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has been making rounds on social media. However, the actor has dismissed the image as fake and has filed a police complaint against those spreading misinformation.
Several politicians, film stars, and international visitors have visited the Maha Kumbh Mela to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. However, Prakash Raj has clarified that he has not attended the Kumbh Mela.
Taking to social media platform X, Prakash Raj stated that the image was a doctored one and he has lodged a complaint in this regard.
“The last resort of bigots and coward army of “Feku Maharaj” is to stoop down and spread FAKE NEWS.. even during theire Holy ceremony.. what a SHAME .. Complaint has been filed against the Jokers .. face the consequences,” he wrote on X.
