Bengaluru: Actor Prakash Raj lodged a police complaint on Wednesday against Mahesh Vikram Hegde, the co founder of Kannada site Postcard News, saying the portal published hostile articles about him.

Prakash Raj refered to two articles in the complaint. One of them laughed at the actor, saying that after his son’s death, he abandoned his wife and married a dancer. He should not be criticising Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath. The second article said Raj “had no fame” to file a defamatory case.

Police have enlisted a FIR under various segments of the IT Act.
