Pramod Muthalik denies any link with Waghmare

Bengaluru: Sri Ram Sena Chief Pramod Muthalik, on June 16, removed himself and the association from the Parashuram Waghmare, an accused in the Gowri Lankesh murder case.
Disputable pictures of Muthalik with Parashuram Waghmare were circulated via social media as of late, raising doubts that Sri Ram Sena may likewise have been associated with the murder of the journalist Gowri Lankesh in Bengaluru.
An announcement by the Sena chief Muthalik read, “Sri Ram Sena has no association with Parashuram. I don’t know what has he said before SIT. There are such so many number of individuals who click photographs with me, just by clicking photographs somebody won’t turn into our worker.”
Then, reports said that 26-year-old Parashuaram Waghmare has admitted to killing Gowri Lankesh with the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Waghmare, who was arrested by the Special Investigation Team from Vijayapura early this week, has likewise said that he was advised to shoot Lankesh down to save the religion and he did as such without knowing the identity of the target.
