Mysuru: BJP MP Pratap Simha lashed out at Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over Tipu Jayanti celebrations in the state by Congress.

Pratap Simha said, “Dear Siddaramaiah, while Bommai is celebrating Obavva Jayanti, Congress is singing praises of Tipu whose father Hyder Ali was responsible for Obavva’s death. Tipu also cheated the Mysuru King and killed Madakari Nayaka. Your only achievement is that you celebrated a mass murderer.”

He further said, “Bommai has already won the hearts of the people of Karnataka. You have no right to question his developmental work as we have all seen how you lost in Chamundeshwari constituency. There might be several reasons for BJP to lose in Hangal including inner politics and cheap tactics by opposition. But Bommai is sure to become the CM in 2023.”
