In response to recent reports of monkey fever in neighboring districts, Udupi district authorities have sprung into action, implementing a series of precautionary measures to safeguard residents.

Concerns have been raised over the potential spread of the illness, prompting proactive steps from local administrations and health departments.

Residents have been instructed to promptly report any instances of deaths due to monkey fever to the relevant authorities, emphasizing the need for swift intervention and investigation. This directive aims to facilitate timely responses and prevent further escalation of the situation.

Particular attention is being paid to rural areas, where communities coexist closely with forested regions.

Dr. Gadaad, the district health officer, reassured that the Doctors are poised to conduct thorough examinations and investigations into the causes of deaths due to monkey fever, enabling appropriate actions to be taken to contain any potential outbreaks.
