President Murmu pays tribute to media Titan Ramoji Rao

President Droupadi Murmu has expressed her condolences on the demise of the esteemed media mogul Ramoji Rao, who passed away at the age of 88 in Hyderabad. The President acknowledged Rao’s monumental contributions to both the news and entertainment sectors.

Rao, who redefined the media landscape in India, was best known for founding the Eenadu newspaper, the ETV news network, and Ramoji Film City. His innovative approach and entrepreneurial spirit made a lasting impact on the industry.

Honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, one of India’s highest civilian awards, Ramoji Rao leaves behind a legacy rooted deeply in society. President Murmu extended her heartfelt sympathies to his family and admirers, noting that his influence will be long remembered.
