Prime Minister congratulates Kumaraswamy, assures all help

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday called up Karnataka’s new Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and guaranteed him of having great association with him on the state’s developmental issues, an official statement said.
The Chief Minister’s office in an announcement said “PM Narendra Modi called up Kumaraswamy and congratulated him on becoming the Chief Minister and would like to have great ties between the two,”
Responding Modi’s gesture, Kumaraswamy communicated readiness to keep up great association with the Prime Minister on developmental issues with the state.
Prior, Modi praised Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara of the Congress on taking up responsibility.
