Principal arrested under POCSO Act

Mysuru: The principal of Mangala school, an Ekalavya model residential tribal school of Hanur has been arrested by Hanur police following allegations of sexual harassment by the students. 

The accused is identified as Lokesh M (40) has been booked under section 3 and 4 of POCSO.

Six to seven girls, their parents and teachers had complained about sexual harassment by the school principal said tribal welfare officer of Chamarajanagar Krishnappa.

Earlier also Lokesh had faced two similar cases in other institutions. 

He was produced before the local magistrate and sent to judicial custody for 15 days.
