The state government hasn’t yet positively responded to the appeal made by the private educational institutions and following the government’s silence over the issue, the private educational institutions have decided to stage protests from August 21 as part of their move, he added.
As part of the protests organised, the members of staff, management will hold protests in taluk level on August 12 to handover a memorandum to concerned Tahsildars of the taluks in the state. On August 19, the protesters will hold protest march in their respective districts and handover a petition to concerned Deputy Commissioners on the issue.
The agitators decided to opt for a state-wide indefinite strike from August 21, 2017 after Karnataka government failed to fulfil their 20 demands.
