Mangaluru: Lashing out at the Central government for the rising unemployment and declining GDP figures in the country, former Union Minister CM Ibrahim said that the government has no knowledge of how to deal with the grave situation on hand.

Addressing a press meet here Ibrahim said that he had closely seen the administrative skills of former Prime Ministers HD Deve Gowda and Atal Bihari Vajpayee having had the opportunity to serve as a union minister under them. “PM Modi does not have a good advisor. He has no knowledge to run the country,” he added.

On the issue of CAA and NRC implementation, Ibrahim said that both Modi and Amit Shah are in a state of confusion and are giving contradictory statements. “Can Modi and Amit Shah produce marriage certificates of their parents for NRC documentation,” he questioned.

Terming the CAA and NRC as unconstitutional, Ibrahim said that not only Muslims but the entire 64 crore people of the country will get affected by the Act.

“Anyone voicing opposition against government polices is branded as anti-national,” said Ibrahim.

Recalling a remark made by BJP leader Ananth Kumar Hegde, the former union minister said that the process to change the Country’s constitution is on.
