Bengaluru: Producer P L Thenappan has said that he will be suing the makers of Best Picture Oscar winner ‘Parasite’ over plagiarism allegations.

Thenappan claims that the Korean-language movie copies a basic plot from his 1999 Vijay-starrer Tamil language movie ‘Minsara Kanna.’

In Minasara Kanna a young man falls in love and makes his family work as domestic workers at his love interest’s house to help him in winning her heart. In Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite, a poor family lies and takes up employment in a rich family’s house.
