It is not uncommon for individuals to switch jobs in search of better opportunities or higher pay. However, a LinkedIn profile that has gone viral in recent days has caught the attention of social media users for a very different reason. The profile belongs to an individual who has worked for a series of companies that have all experienced significant failures, leaving many scratching their heads in disbelief.

The profile, which was posted by journalist Trung Phan, lists the individual’s employment since March 2012, starting with blood-testing start-up Theranos, which shut down amid allegations of fraud. After five years, the person left and joined WeWork, which later imploded after being forced to drop its IPO due to concerns over its financial stability and corporate governance.

The individual then moved to cryptocurrency company FTX, which also collapsed by 2022. Next, the person worked at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) for seven months before the lender also collapsed in March this year.

The latest addition to this strange job history is Credit Suisse Bank, which has been impacted by the turmoil in the financial market and has since been bought by UBS Group AG.

The profile has left many Twitter users in disbelief, with some questioning its authenticity and others daring potential employers to take a chance on the individual.

While some have speculated about the correlation between the individual’s job history and cultural fit, others have found the profile to be a source of entertainment, jokingly requesting updates on the individual’s next job move.
