Prohibitory orders imposed as PU exams commence

Mangaluru: CrPC Section 144 will be imposed within 200 metre radius of 54 exam centres in DK district as pre-university examinations commence from March 1, 2019 to March 18, 2019, stated an order from Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate’s Office in Dakshina Kannada.
The prohibitory order was issued on February 28 by DK DC Sasikanth Senthil accordance to the directives received from the office of the Karnataka Chief Secretary.
The order bans all activities which will aid malpractice in exams. All forms of explosive or weapons are banned in the exam centres. Xerox shops which are within 200 metres from the exam zone have been directed to stop operations during the exam days.
People have been warned against disrupting the smooth functioning of the exam centres by taking part in schemes to leak exam papers or any kind of conspiracies.
