Udupi: The new MP Shobha Karandlaje has said that the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency will be developed based on projects and here is an interview of the MP with “Udayavani”

What do you have to say regarding your victory?

Party workers and voters are impressed by the Modi led government. The people’s anger against the state government has been expressed. The workers and voters have given their vote wishing Karnataka’s development. More positions have been given to BJP in the state. This victory has been possible because of Modi. There is faith of achieving two-third majority. Leaders like Kharge and Moily have lost in front of Modi. Mahaghatbandhan attempt did not work. The voters of Udupi are intelligent. They have voted in big numbers.

What is your next aim?

My aim is to develop the constituency based on projects. Since I already have five years of experience, development will be achieved through project implementation.

How will you deliver the responsibility of the party and as a people’s representative?

It is not difficult. I will handle both of them. I’ll give importance to the party organizations. BJP needs to shine brighter in the state.

What projects will you try to bring specifically?

Last time I has said that I will create an ESI hospital. But since the state government failed to give the report, it could not be accomplished. This time, I’ll follow up and try to get an ESI hospital for Udupi. I’ll give importance to the railway double tracking, development of tourism and other works. I’ll speak with Jagan Mohan Reddy and increase the pace of the work on the national highway.

Is there a possibility of getting a ministerial berth?

I am not an aspirant for such positions. I walk as per the directions of the party. If Modi and Amit Shah suggest, I’ll listen.

What do you have to say regarding the fall of the state government?

The countdown for the fall of the state government has begun. As mentioned before, we do not call the MLA’s of other parties. We welcome them if they resign and join us. The sins committed by the state government will be experience by them. This is an anti-people government. I’ll implement the projects of Modi government

Goback, Pramod…

They said “GoBack” because they were selfish. I do not do hate politics. We should all work together. I do not know why Pramod went towards JD(S). Congress has done good for him. I do not know what he will do next.
