Bengaluru: Senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said the party has set a target of 140+ seats in the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.
“We have determined to win more than 140 seats in the next elections and have promised Prime Minster that the target will be achieved. We have started working together towards making it happen,” Yediyurappa said.

On the issue of the closure of Bhadravati’s Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Ltd (VISL), he said that efforts were made long ago to save the plant. “Our MPs tried hard to save the Bhadravati factory.
